Pickles doesn't really get up and about till around 10 o clock at night, she tends to be around and about at any excuse during the day so I think she is playing catch up.
However I swear she has some kind of 6th hamster sense where she always decides she wants to come out and play at the exact moment I decide I HAVE TO sleep. It doesn't matter how many times before that I offer her play time as soon as I decide in my head to get some sleep there is this little face at her door saying "oi you let me out!"
After last night's 5am shinanigans I am mainly greatful to see and hear her so active without a hamster care in the world but I have given her a duplicate brick digger to explore with food hidden in and around it so I can catch up on some sleep. Knowing her she will give it another 30 minutes and then have a nap anyway
