I'm sure this will amuse a few of you :)

I've been posting various pictures of my Hamsters on my Facebook recently, and obviously someone at work has seen them, he stops me today and asks
"Syrian Hamsters, is that the name of the Breed or has it actually been imported in from Syria" no idea how I managed to keep a straight face, made it back to my desk and I just lost it. :D

Actually you could say Yes to both as the first Syrian Hamster taken from the wild and brought into a lab was indeed from Syria and the 1st in the USA came from that first Mom and pup litter so were indeed Imported in from Syria :D:D:D:D;)
