Last month, I mentioned that I was on the look out for a pure bred winter white dwarf hamster. I followed a couple of leads which initially didn't get me any closer to bringing home a little WW. One person I did contact was Charley from Winterwood, you may recognise her name as the breeder of RachK's winter white pair Apple & Blossom and recently Holmes. At first Charley was unable to help, then out of the blue, on a Thursday morning, I received a message from Charley asking if I was still looking for a WW as she had some available, after all. I almost leapt off my bed (which was my only seat that day as my lounge was being re-painted, so the fluffs, Henry and I were all banished to my bedroom for the day.) when I read her message.
Of course, I messaged back immediately saying that yes I was still looking and did she have a little female available. Charley replied with a photograph of a gorgeous little girl, with whom I fell in love straight away. Fortunately, I had already planned to go to the Topcliffe show and now Charley had decided to attend, although it was a long way for her to travel. So the arrangements were made, and I counted down each day with eager anticipation until finally, I was heading into the village hall at Topcliffe.
Charley and RachK spotted me and it was really good to meet both of them. Soon after I got my first glimpse of my little girl, she was even more beautiful and gorgeous than I had expected, so without further ado, here are some photos of Elynor when she was having fun in the playpen the other night.

Having brought Elynor home from Topcliffe on 19th April, she has settled in extremely well. She adores her cuddles, has mastered her flying saucer and loves her food both her dry mix and her vegetables.
She is an absolute cutie and so totally adorable. Of course, she's pretty fast too, so getting good photos has been a little tricky but the main thing is that she is content and healthy.
You may be familiar with RachK's gorgeous Apple and Blossom, they are Elynor's aunties and her latest addition, Holmes (here is his link - http://www.hamstercentral.com/community/hamster-chat/59504-meet-holmes.html) is Elynor's brother.
Thank you Charley at Winterwood for my gorgeous little girl, she's an absolute delight. :)
