How long do dwarfs live?

I have 2 winter whites, these are my first dwarf hamsters. I wondered if they live any longer or any less than syrians?

syrians are terrible for dying on you :cry: but dwarfies live for at least 2 years but usually longer. my oldest lady Rocket is 2 and a half.

Roborovskis live the longest of all tho, basically pick a year! they tend to live to 2 and half or even 3!

winter whites have a lifespan of 18 - 28 months on average. Campbells tend to live a little longer. There is a variation in lifespan in all species mind you.

My winter whites are both 17months now. There looking scruffy and starting to slow down. I didn't want to take them to the vets as they have all died shorty after!

i think it's pretty much the same as Syrians to be honest.
