I've been told before that you can give dry cat and dog food for hamsters. But what about cat and dog meat?

only as a very occasional treat. ive never given anything apart from dog treats to my hams.

i only give my hedgehogs cat food and would only give hams cat meat, its better processed than dog food. we can eat it but cant eat dog food.

Why cat food? Its much richer than dog food, alot higher in protein. I'd have thought it would be worse for them.

i dont know y, its just what ive been told. but like i said very occasional treat only and only a very small amount. i mean my hogs get it once a month if that.

i dont feed my hams cat or dog meat anyway the only meat they get is off my plate :)

We never give the wet food as it might be stored and go bad. The kitten biscuits are best for hamsters and you can often pick up a little sample bad of kitten biscuits an the vets or in pet shops for free which is perfect for hamsters :D
