Hey everyone!
My Syrian, Molly, used to take treats out of my hand no problem, she'd even take them out of the palm of my hand. However now, she will take it, nibble it for less than a second, and then drop it and loose interest. Is this normal behaviour? Have I stressed her out? Help!

(she's seven weeks old and I got her on Thursday)

I have a hamster who loves treats and another who's not so bothered, she will either nibble and drop it like your hamster or completely ignore it all together. Maybe try some other treats, it might be that treat in particular she's not so bothered about. I wouldn't he worried about it though perhaps Molly isn't hugry:)

Believe it or not they're not always interested in food! Mine are the same, sometimes they'll gobble everything up & sometimes really not interested which just means it's time for some taming or time out of the cage without treats, just handling & fun!
