Sleeping in their wheel

Is it normal for hamsters to sleep in their wheel?

One of my Syrians nested in his enclosed wheel....then sometimes we clean it out, and he runs, then he drags his stuff back in. Totally, er....'normal'......for a hamster.....

I think they overdo their workouts, so they stop and have 40 winks them do it all over again lol.
Mine do it every so often, Archie brings up some of his bedding so he can have a sleep in comfort.
I keep the water bottle next to the wheel so there's water close at hand.

His name is Abu, he came with it so I stuck with it. I sometimes call him Bug lol :D

Abu means 'father' in Arabic....he DOES look rather paternal in the picture. Like he could be on hamster money, instead of , yanno, Washington, or the Queen..... :p
