Around 3 months ago my wife and I rescued 2 hamster pups... a boy and a girl...

they each had one eye closed from birth, they were 3 weeks old at the time...

the owner had an unexpected litter (she bought a pregnant female from pet shop) so she returned the rest of the pups to the store.

They didn`t want to took these 2 because they looked "bad" (i am quoting)... so we took them in...

We cleaned their eyes 5 times a day with saline and gradually (in two weeks) they opened their eyes and are perfectly healthy now...

They are really tame and cuddly. They are separated now of course, for obvious reasons... ;)

I think it is named "Gold"...
but it is kind of nice of them they took most of them in, I have heard that in most cases some petshops don`t even do that...

They are absolutely adorable. I would have adopted them too, little cuties! :D

Thank you, and they are really tame... I think that is probably because we handled them a lot to clean their eyes when they were still quite young...
