Kind of hamster(s): Dwarf hybrids
Hamster age(s): range from 4 weeks to 7 weeks but impossible to tell which are from which litter so all will be held for two weeks to ensure all are old enough to go to new homes.
Reason they were abandoned? Mis sexed pet shop hamsters, owners couldn't cope with all of them.
Any health problems/special needs? None so far, diabetes tests pending
Any behavioral problems? All are friendly to some degree. None are biters. Most are good for first time owners. A few would require more experienced handling.Please let us know what level of experience you have so we can help you pick the right hamsters from these groups.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: As above. One particular pair of boys (Pigeon and Puffin) may suit a child owner but all the others would be best with adults.These guys will be homed in same sex groups where applicable. Can be homed as singles, pairs or in fours. Bear in mind that groups can fall out at a later date so only adopt what you can care for if this happens.
