Pictures of my new hamsters =)

I took pictures when I got them home, now they're settling down in their cage. I needed to know their genders so I just took the opportunity to snap a few extra. What color are they? It's been a long time since I've had dwarves, not since I was little but my store just bought some from a breeder and they were too cute to pass up. They had a lot of colors, way more than I've seen with any other store. Lots of different shades of grey and agouti, albino, black, tan. I chose these too. I also need name help! You guys helped me figure out that they are both male, please help. =)

Yes, they were in a cereal bowl. I couldn't leave them in the box because they chewed a hole in it. Aren't they cute? I don't know if they are mixed with winter white or not but it doesn't matter. I love them. The tan one is a little fireball!

If they're from a pet store, they're most likely hybrids, but they are adorable regardless! Be sure you're aware of dietary needs, like no sugar, etc. I'm bad with colours/genetics, so I'm not much help there.

The more grey one looks like a little Vanilla Bean. Or even Blizzard would be cute for him. Depends on what types of names you like!

The browner one with red eyes (the tan one, you say?) you could name him Blaze?

Thank you for the input! Still not sure on names but I'm definitely considering yours =) When I was very little I bought a 'boy' and named him Thunder. About a week later 'he' gave birth to four babies! I was still in elementary school then so my parents found homes for them with the other kids. I don't remember much of it because I was very young. She was so cute though. =)

Oh wow! My SO had the same thing. He brought home Dusty, and she was the nastiest hamster he ever had! A week or so later she had about 11 babies.

I'll try to think of more names. Honestly, I love food names, but if you're interested in other names you could look for those too!

If you like fandoms (personally I love ASOIAF/GoT) you could name them Snow & Dany (even if Dany is a girl) as an alternative to ice and fire.

I can't wait to see these guys grow! They're adorable. :>

What do you guys think of Simon for the tan one and Valentino for the grey one? My grandma picked out those names and I kind of like them.

Awww they are both so cute! :D The little grey one has such a sweet innocent little face. :3

I love the name Valentino. We had a baby albino Lionhead rabbit called that once, because he had little pink eyes and just happened to be born on Valentine's day! :)

Looking at them, the two names that have sprung to my mind are Jasper (the argente-coloured one) and Jacob (the grey). :3 I like spontaneous names, I think the first ones you think of the ones that are meant to be! :) x

Tom and jerry ? As in the TV show with jerry the mouse which is tan coloured and tom the cat which is grey !!! Or Ben and jerry (ice cream) yummm I love names like that for a pair :-)

Well, I think Simon and Valentino are great names for two very handsome hammies. I really love their colors and, as everyone on Hamster Central knows by now, I adore red eyes. I just love the photos; both cuddle together so nicely. :-)

We almost got one of Mocha and Caramel's brother, who had red eyes. But he was a bit nippy and really hyperactive. We picked out Caramel for his friendly, calm nature first, then Mocha because they got on very well. A bit sad we didn't get red eyes, but it's nice to see red eyed hams getting some love! I know some kids think they look evil. :(
