A little issue

So my hamster, Basil will let me hold him. But after about 3-5 mins he starts to nibble at me to put him back. Is there a way to train him so that he won't want to go back so fast? Sorry if this is annoying....

I've never had a hamster who sits still for longer than a few seconds. If I take any of them out of their cages, they'd want to explore around. It's their natural instinct.

I think 3 to 5 mins is very good. I normally get my hammy from the cage and put them on my lap. They sometimes bite my clothes for a few seconds more before they run off and explore.
