My syrian will run into the tube run out and roll around. is this normal???

Does he/she do it deliberately? The hamster in the video looked like he was forced in that tube! I use the ancol tubes and tend to put something heavy against the tube so that it doesn't move when my hammy is in there.

There is something else that Syrian's do when they mark their space, they get on their sides and sometimes back and roll. They do this to the things they like, sometimes in their substrate:) I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.
