So after some serious thinking I have decided to retire my sow, rosie has given us 4 litters of beautiful babies and I want her to relax and enjoy the rest of her years, only problem was she would not accept another sow into her cage.. I tried with a few and even borrowed baby after baby from a breeder i know.. nothing worked well, today while browsing a freecycle( free stuff) pagein my area I came across a 1.5 year old female piggie who was living in a horribly small cage. one of these: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=TzZ3qdjUoqlD4M&tbnid=NJMqnsRS3D8HYM:&ved=0CAMQjhw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fshopping.rediff.com%2Fproduct%2Fh agen-rabbit-guinea-pig-critter-pen-antique%2F11294271&ei=fhY2UuOmObOl2AW_o4H4Dg&bvm=bv.52164340,d.b2I&psig=AFQjCNGVFOCmXt8qoOdBq0t9SR71vUmIFw&ust=1379362793399105

I contacted the people and turns out she's not good with the kids so they decided to find her a new home where she will be happy. I have her here now and she's absolutely a total sweetheart. a little underweight but not too bad.
I put a divided in my 3x4 grid c&c cage.. I know it's not big enough permanently but it's fine until II get my hands on another plastic thing to remake the bottom bigger. Rosie jumped over the divider so I decided to just watch. she went over to miss pig(new one) and bit her on the butt miss pig looked at her, bit her back and that was it. I'm home for the next few days to supervise but they're sharing the food and everything seems good. fingers crossed it stays this way.
