Reason they were abandoned? Owner no longer wanted them.
Any health problems/special needs? None.
Any behavioral problems? None.
Type of household hamster would best be suited : Adult or teenage home.

Morpheus and Nereus are a pair of gorgeous Chinese brothers of around 5 months who love nothing more than cuddling and playing together. They are inquisitive and gentle little guys who will not shy away from climbing over you during play time. Although it may take some time for them to truly bond with their owner I am sure with a bit of patience they will blossom and become truly loving and interactive. They are happy together at this moment but any potential owners must be aware that the relationship could break down without warning, this may not happen but it is something that must be considered with dwarf pairings. Chinese hamsters also need no sugar diets due to being diabetes prone so any potential owners should do a lot of reading on their diets and general care. We as a rescue will provide a care sheet and are willing to help with any questions if necessary.
They will need a cage of at least 70cm x 40cm. A WHAM 110L bin would be ideal for them. You will also need to provide two wheels, both of which are 6.5"
