Shaking??

Recently I have adopted a new buddie named Timothy, he is a dwarf hamster (winter white as the store told me) and so far he has adjusted well. Within hours he was up and playing on his wheel and digging tunnels, but when I got home(9:30 or so at night) I turned on my light in my room and I noticed that he was shaking. He was sitting upright (slightly bent over) on his wheel just shaking, is this normal?
He seems just fine now he is on his wheel, eating and drinking his water, should I be concerned at all?

If it's what I think it is then it's completely normal. Hammies freeze when they are a bit nervous, from what I've read its a reaction from the wild to try and hide themselves from predators. I think the shaking or vibrating is just him breathing fast. Gizmo does this sometimes and it's usually when I switch the light on or he hears a noise he's nervous about. Maybe another member who's more experienced can either confirm what I think or correct me if I'm wrong.
