He hates carrot?? My hams love it! I'd be interested to know how he gets on with the gammon though, never tried mine on it but we have some in the freezer

Mine aren't that keen on carrot either. Cucumber is a big favourite, as are fresh peas and kale.

I'm finally going to attempt to give mine some veggies this evening. I wouldn't know about the carrot, though, because I avoid it because of the sugar content.

I would've thought gammon would be too salty for hams. I've given mine chicken before though :) My Syrian loves her greens and veg, my Robo not so much

I soak gammon overnight then boil it before roasting :) it's a long process but makes the gammon non salty I guess I got it off my mum :)
It is I the safe food list so thought I would try it trying to give him a differant diet.

Delilah absolutely loves boiled egg white, and boiled potato, chicken, pasta, she is not a fan of fresh basil leaves but my Rodney loved basil!

I want to try her with peas, can I defrost frozen ones and give them to her, or do they have to be cooked?

My guys had salmon en croute recently (it was on special offer at Tesco and they had some of mine ;)) -- Annie loved hers, Darla was not bothered  They only had a tiny bit of salmon and an even tinier bit of pastry, plus peas and baked potato ;)
