Syrian hamster wanted - West Mids/Worcs

My neighbours have decided to get their daughter a Syrian hammy for Christmas.

Rather than go straight to the pet shop/breeder route they have asked me to advise them on possible rescues and have asked me if I can ell them find a hammy up to about 6 months old.

I've not had any luck as yet so if anyone knows of any hammys who need rehoming please let me know.

This is for a very nice family who love animals - they can travel a bit and hammy if we find one will be living with me until Christmas Day.

Very pleased to say I have found a rescue hamster for my neighbours - just happened that Worcester RSPCA had a 6 month old hamster handed in on Sunday and he/she will be heading to me soon then next door on the 24th :mad:
