New syrian Hamster

I got a new syrian Hamster today from P@H Its a rescue and her name at the moment is buffy, but when we got her I noticed that she is very vocal, As my other hamsters have been quiet this is a shock but is it normal or shall i be worried she seems fin in any other way.:confused:

How do you mean vocal? If it's a loud squeaking noise it could be that she's scared

Yes its a loud squeeking noise and yes we will enjoy but we have two now baby and buffy although baby belongs to my 10 year old daughter.

I'd leave her to settle in for a day or so and then start with taming her. Probably pretty overwhelming for her and if she's a rescue it could be she's not been very well handled and is frightened of people. You'll have to go gently to win her trust, there is some good info on the wiki page :)
