Introducing Peep Bumbleham

Peep is a rescue, he's about four months old and is one of the trio Womblehands has been trying to rehome. He was named and going to be ours within about 24 hours of Womblehands hearing about the hams and telling me :)

He currently lives in an Alaska, but will move to an Alexander in January.

I think someone will need a few hammocks soon, but he's settling in really well so far :) We're going to see if he wants to come out in a few minutes, my OH has held him but I haven't yet... Plan to change that shortly :)

She's the same colours, but has less spots so is a bit darker. I'll sort out the video of her today or tomorrow for you to see her :)

He just woke up, had a drink and went back to bed (he's sleeping in the house buried under the food bowl) but is going to be woken again in a minute. I'm insisting on getting him out tonight :)

Am pleased to say that we've had him out for a while tonight. Can't believe how tame, happy and confident he was. If his pups are anything like him they'll be amazing pets - and the same goes for his sisters :)

Thanks all :) The first time we saw him was when we were collecting him, but I was really surprised at how much I liked his colouring. I think he's more campbells but we don't really mind what he is, he's lovely either way :)

Its lovely to see him after I took him out of that awful tub of a cage full of straw..
I was saving that name for a special and Im glad he was the one to have it..

Thanks everyone, and Petite - he has a home. He's our new ham. His sisters are both raising his pups at the moment though and they will need homes.

Womblehands, I'm glad you let him have that name :) I'm also glad we could help when he needed a home, he seems really happy in his Alaska and we've ordered him some hammocks and stuff now to help break the height up since he's discovered a love of climbing. He really is a great little guy and I'm glad you let us be the ones to rehome him :)

I'm so glad how Lil Peep is so friendly! He really is a gawgus colour...I'm sure i have said that before, but I have never seen a hybrid with this pattern and I really think he's a stunner:)

The strange thing is that we could just leave Peep to it. He's better behaved than even Scamp when free ranging, he doesn't try to eat cables, doesn't seem to want to walk off the edge of the bed, is fine to be collected whenever... Hasn't even tried to chew anything much yet lol

Kissa - Sadly we have two spare. Skip's old one and Scruff's old one. Skip's old one is waiting for us to find its occupant (we've got some specific ideas in mind). We decided that Scruff's would go to a rescue who needed the home, but the cage itself is being disinfected and quarantined until January to be safe (as are all its contents). We're not sure what she died of and while we're as sure as we can be that it won't have been contagious, we see no reason to take the risk when we've got good sized spare cages.
