Hello dear HC members!
My sweet Cupcake had what we would call a "fun night out" while mommy was sleeping soundly in the next room!
Yesterday I forgot her cage door open after our cuddle-time but that wasn't the first time this had happened (and she never escaped from her cage before/first time was the ball) but...

She had these to help her...

And so my little munchkin climbed on the wooden one in the middle (closest to the ground when she climbs on a toy) and what happened next I believe is meant for spy-movies...she monkeyed her way on the mesh to one side of the cage until she could climb off and...

Fell here!

This box is on a rack attached to the desk that has Cupcake's ZZ and has hammies food and hammies treats. Of course she didn't chew the bags with the food and went for the treats only
Underneath this box is another box with unopened treats only and she managed to squeeze between the two and get into the second one and...

She opened the treats! (note the boxes were not empty and she didn't eat everything, I just had to place them into ziplocks)

The second treat bag was never opened (too much sugar) but she took care of that too!
And so at 6:45 in the morning I hear something that sounds like scratching on a door and my first thought was "OMG SOMEONE IS TRYING TO BREAK INTO MY HOUSE!) the sound stops, I go back to sleep, mom leaves at work and I hear the sound again at around 7:45... I get up go into Cupcake's room (the room door was open) and 20 seconds later I click that she must've escaped because boxes were scattered and shavings were on the floor... but if she was making the sound where was she and what was she doing?!
Boyfriend spotted her behind the dresser, we pulled the dresser and there she was...

Eating monkey nuts!

As soon as she went into the cage she drank 1/4 of her water bottle and went to sleep. That was quite the night :) I was so grateful she didn't leave the room, she was too busy eating all she hoarded overnight
baby is safe and sleeping now!

I checked her 20 times over, she was perfectly fine and had some cuddle time tonight :) so she is just fine, she does feel a bit chubbier

Fluffy had a similar adventure once. She was gone a day and a half and I was pretty convinced I wasn't going to see her again. But she turned up bright and early one morning making noise in a closet. It appeared she had successfully gotten in there but couldn't figure out how to get out! Silly little furballs. :p
