I started off a while ago with two little PEWs...Itzy and Bitzy. I have become more and more fascinated by my mice and I have taken on 6 more!
These were all rescued from an over run so called breeder who wanted rid of her 'collection'.
They are all living happily now in a 4foot vivarium.
Heres a huddle of them,

This is Tulip, her eyes are closed...I had just woken them all up! You can see in this pic her front paw is deformed...she's a right madam though!

They are all BEAUTIFUL!

I love little Daisey!

Quick question. Do you find that mice on Megazorb smell less?. Do you leave it longer between cleaning out on Megazorb?

I find they definitly smell less. It's the best sub I've used for the mice and i'll be sticking to it I think. I don't have to change them as often at all, I also use hay as bedding for them which is good for keeping the smell down.

I only have 2 mice left right now.
Probably having some come in to the rescue in the next month or so if transport can be arranged :D

I've got them out at the moment and I am slightly concerned...the black and tan girl, Vixen is looking alot chubbier than she did a few days ago. It was always a worry in the back of my mind that one or all may be pregnant. I'm going to have to keep an eye on her I think x

I hope not too! If theres no babies by the 23rd of this month then I know no one is expecting x

Keep an eye on her Billybobbs. Mice are usually very good at doing their own thing and having their babies on their own and your girl has company around her to help, but sometimes a pregnant mum is better seperated and given her own space to build a large nest and have her babies, but you will know if her body shape goes like a pear! From above, she will have a bulging belly that actually looks obvious. A fat mouse will just look bigger built even around the shoulders.

Finally, check the sexes of them all incase you have a male amongst them.

Hi RH, I have only just noticed her looking so errm, chubby! I don't know what to do with her at the moment. There is still some arguing amongst them and they havn't settled in completley so I am worried she may eat the babies is she has any x

I can see your concerns. Maybe ask for some advice on this over on the mouse forum as there are a few members who are breeders who would be able to advise you better if she ballons in size, which will probably mean she is pregnant. Hopefully she won`t be, but best to be prepared just incase!
