Hi

I'm looking to add a couple of Chinese dwarves (preferably) to my hamster corner (I have 5 roborovskis and a campbell so far) and I'd like, if possible to house rescue hamsters only.

Our local RSPCA separates hamsters as soon as they arrive so I'll never get a pair from them - I will still look for singletons but they have none at present. I have my reservations about the local P@H. They always have lots of hamsters for adoption in the 'charity' area but I feel that if I take these I'm just encouraging the shop to buy too many all the time. Am I alone feeling uncomfortable about this?

Does anyone have any ideas of who I could approach in the Somerset area please?

Thanks

Wow! I have managed to source 2 male chinese hamsters. Might have to go to Ringwood to collect them or they might, if I'm lucky, be taken to somewhere closer. Either way, I'm happy. They're already 2 years old but they're living together happily (at the moment) so they're exactly what I was looking for. :-)
