Location: Fostered in Southampton
Kind of hamster: Long haired Syrian
Reason they were abandoned? For being smelly and biting a child that squeezed her.
Any health problems/special needs? She was found to have pyometra on arrival at the rescue and was spayed on 7th June. She has made a speedy recovery.
Any behavioral problems? None. Since her arrival in rescue, she hasn't bitten and is becoming a confident girl. She picks up well and has started to take hand-fed treats.
Hamster age: Unknown
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: A loving home that will spoil her as she deserves

Delilah is an active and inquisitive girl. She isn't yet ready for rehoming as she will be assessed and quarantined for at least 2 weeks from her arrival.

Delilah has recovered from surgery - the bruising has settled, her 'zip' is looking lovely and the belly fur is starting to grow again. She has demanded to move out of the hospital cage and is loving monkey barring and wheel zooming. Delilah is ready for rehoming applications!
