Location: Sawbridgeworth, Herts.
Kind of hamster(s): Baby Russian Dwarf Hamsters - Males and Females available.
Hamster age(s): 6 weeks old
Reason they were abandoned? Brought into rescue as unwanted - Previous owner bought the original pair believing them to be of the same sex, but then a litter of 6 babies arrived - much to their surprise ! Unfortunately, the day after giving birth to the first litter the pair mated again so she is now nursing another litter.
Dad was separated from Mum before the second litter were born so there will be no more hanky panky !
Any health problems/special needs? None
Any behavioral problems? None - are being handled regularly.
Type of household hamster would best be suited to: These are very small and lively hamsters so not suited to young children - experienced hammy person preferred.
