gbhrescue (http://www.gbhrescue.co.uk/)

I cannot recommend this rescue enough! They are always full to the brim with allsorts of animals. My boy Cooper is from them and so is one of my buns Bubbles.

They are extremely grateful too, I gave them a £10 donation for Cooper and they were over the moon as they could buy bedding for the next month or so. :p

Depending on where you are in Kent, Kim in Rainham (see the rescue and adoption thread) has some lovely rescue hams. Magic came from her and is exactly as described. In terms of breeders, there's Naomi (contactable via PM) in Sittingbourne.

It only takes 25 minutes to reach GBH Rescue? Or are there no hams to your liking?

You must be looking for something pretty specific as there's a wide range of colours and personalities there.

Will this be your first hamster?

I have to say, it really does depend on what sort of personality you want as robos are the cutest and tiniest but they're also the speediest and hardest to handle. :)

its my first but i worked in a pet shop and found the robos nicer and more fun =]
so i do have some experience in them

I know this is an old thread but just like to say as other posters did GBH rescue is great. They have lots of syrians at the moment needing homes!:)
