I thought I would post these lovely pictures of Pearl for you all to see how she is getting on. She came from Basia as you all know and is such a livewire!

Now when I first heard that you were going to call her Pearl I have to admit to not being 100% sure. How wrong was I??
She so suits her name and is a real beauty (as Ive mentioned before) but she just keeps getting prettier. I have to say all of Gill's litter were/are absolute stunners. Pearl is no exception. And she looks so content too.
Thanks for letting us see how she is getting on. Keep the photos coming! :x

What a little hamster supermodel  and what a perfect name for her.

Aw Baby Pearl is all grown up! She looks really fit, Leanne, a credit to you. I am so looking forward to seeing her and hopefully Minstrel again at Highworth. :D

Pearl looks like a real gem  sorry! bad pun.
Lovely to see her, especially as with Basia being in the same town as me I might persuade her that one of the next litter needs to stay in Herefordshire :D

Thank you everyone for your kind replies!
Spud's mum, I agree, when I first named her Pearl I thought it might sound a bit silly but she has such a lovely sheen to her coat and she just somehow fits the name!
I am incredibly proud of her, she is very active and attentive to me 100% - she seems to know what I am doing at different times and acts accordingly, for example at feeding time she waits patiently sitting in the food bowl or by the door, yet at night when I am on the PC she tends to sit on her wooden log or grass tunnel and just stares at me lol.
I would recommend Basia's hams to everyone, I will certainly be going back for more!

I would be delighted if one of my babies stayed in Herefordshire with you!
Its really nice when they go to people who keep in touch and I get to see them all grown up, loved and cared for.

I agree totally - both with Basia saying it's lovely to stay in touch with your babies - and with Leanne for recommending Basia's babies
Our Minnie (Minstrel) is also very attentive to what I'm doing -she's actually watching me now and I've only just put her back from her run - she sits on her log and watches me as well!
