Our little chinese hamster Bubbles is still very shy but seems to be getting friendlier all the time. My 10 yr old son really loves her and strokes her every night. She has never nipped and is not quick or difficult to pick up or handle. chineses do have that sweet innocent "love me" look about them! they are very sweet and so different to other hams. i think they're good for kids as they're very hard to drop!
