I'm mortified that it's taken me three weeks to introduce our wonderful little girly from Spud's Mum's recent litter - no excuses except that the run up to Christmas has been impossibly busy for me and any spare time I've had in the evenings has been taken up with looking after the hammies - there's been no time for writing about them!

Anyway Malteaser (continuing the chocolate theme!) is now coming up to eight weeks old (she was five weeks when we got her and she's been living with her sister who went to live with a friend of Will's on Christmas Eve). She's a LH satin sable roan - my first experience of this gorgeous colour - and what can I say, she's a joy to have here as she is so tame and friendly...and just utterly lovely all round :)

I've left my camera and memory card at my parent's house so I only have one piccy to post tonight - this was taken a couple of days after we got her and she's grown an awful lot since this - she's put on 12g this past week and now weighs a very respectable 125g at not quite 8 weeks old

I'll post the rest tomorrow - and also update my website as it's now woefully out of date....I need to make pages for Minnie, Mars, Button, Kitty, Smartie, Milly, Toby and Molly - gulp

awww little baby!
She is still gorgeous Julie, and looks so much like her sisters. Her colours and coat are coming on nicely aren't they?
I know what you mean about not having time to introduce our new arrivals. I havent introduced Bronte, Sabine and Amelie yet!
I'm so glad she is doing well, and is growing really well too! Mind you, by the look of her enjoying that pasta, its not surprising she has put on so much weight!

I love the photos Julie, Molly looks a very happy and spoiled girl altogether! :x Especially like the one where both she and Will are posing for the camera!
I've just posted a photo of Princess as a baby on your wodent wheel thread and it reminded me how much Molly and Amelie look like their Mum did!

(I think Sarah may be able to identify two more of ours from the same litter whenever she is next judging!) we will be giving her nightmares with 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 half sisters sharing classes!

I did think of that! Before I realised she was satin I thought she'd be in the AOC class - now between us we'll have six hamsters in LH satin, with a family resemblance between all of them!!!

As of this afternoon Molly now has a new home in one of our spare Gabber Rex cages. I decided the other cage she was in is too small for a Syrian (I have plans for it anyway!) and so Molly has moved up the property ladder and is now getting settled in a bigger pad!

The only downside is that she'll now be able to indulge in her bad habit of bar chewing

However I think I might have a new weapon in that particular battle - watch this space once my supplies arrive

Aww, check her out in her new cage! :D
It looks fab, loads of room and plenty to keep her occupied.

Is that the junior wodent wheel in there?

She looks as though she is settling in to her new home well!
She's lovely - and I see what you mean about the Hemcore being bigger pieces - it looks comfy though!

I made what could have been a big error last night, getting Amelie, no-name and Princess all out in their balls at the same time - luckily I remembered which was in which colour ball otherwise there could have been major cage mix ups!

Thanks guys, I think she's settled in already, she's been asleep under the shelf and has just woken up for a potter about. I definitely feel more comfortable with her having more space :)

Is that the junior wodent wheel in there?

It is - the senior doesn't fit in a Rex.

I made what could have been a big error last night, getting Amelie, no-name and Princess all out in their balls at the same time - luckily I remembered which was in which colour ball otherwise there could have been major cage mix ups!

I have the same - having 7 creams I have to have all the balls colour co-ordinated. I'm always forgetting which is which but luckily Will never does!
