Wheelie fun!

After many hours of observation it has come to my attention that all the rodents in my care, when perambulating in their wheels, always cause the wheel to rotate in an anticlockwise direction.

In the interests of scientific curiosity of the most idle kind is this behaviour common to all rodents, whether it be hamsters, gerbils, mice etc.

Please observe your rodents in their wheels and report your findings. Thanks. (Pompous aren't I?)

Or are mine the only devil worshipping rodents on the planet.... :twisted:

Only 3 of my 7 use their wheels, 2 run clockwise and just to be different Smurf likes being wheely ambidextrous running both ways :wink:

Just typical, come up with a bright idea and what happens. The zebra mouse decides to go antiwiddershins - clockwise.

Most of mine run anti-clockwise but Chunky runs both ways. :wink:

Well, ours all seem to run different ways usually - but each of them run the same different ways, if you know what I mean. I can alwasy tell if one is running the oppostie way to how they usually do because (this makes me sound a little odd) the wheels sound different - it's so obvious!

We have two syrians who run anti usually and two who run clockwise. Dwarfs run mainly anti clockwise but all wil occasionally run the other way. Fraid I think the just go the way they happen to hop in Pouchy!

My hamsters often spend time in their wheel and normally start off anti-clockwise but if they get stuck turn around and goes the other way for a bit :D dont know why they start like that maybe its common with hamsters and their wheels :)

I've seen Luna going both ways...though she seems to prefer anti.

Charlie goes both ways but mainly clockwise. Tac will go either way :wink:
