I recently bought two campbells on saturday, and I've been told that they can bathe themselves in sand?

Would chinchilla sand like this...Bathing Dust for Chinchillas 3kg by B and D | Pets at Home (http://www.petsathome.com/shop/bathing-dust-for-chinchillas-3kg-by-b-and-d-15778?freeText=chinchilla+sand&msg=MSG_SEARCH_ONE_MATCHING_PRODUCT) do?

Ideally you want something that says sand not dust. :)

All of my dwarf hamsters have little baths with chinchilla sand in. They all use them at least daily. I would recomend getting some.

It DOES work, when I had my Squidge, he used to love to play and roll and smother himself in the stuff, it should work for your hammie! ;)

I bought the Charlie Chinchilla sand yesterday :D
I have to say though, the girls don't quite know what to do with it yet :P
But I'm hoping they'll get the hang of it!

My dwarf Noodle was first introduced to sand when he happened upon our Zen Sand Garden on the table... *one paw... two paws.... ROLLLLLL* Didn't want him making a mess so I took him away. Then bought him some sand.... but he wouldn't touch it. :( Although I think it was more dust than sand, so that may be why he didn't like it (it was the Critter Bath Powder - I've learned my lesson since joining here).

I have that stuff, both of mine pee and poo in it though .____. they don't roll in it :(

I swear I'm the only person who has hams who don't use the sand bath. Not a single one!

Do you have robos or any dwarves? It's pretty essential for them. Syrians do enjoy them though.
