Hiya I have a pair of roborovski females and am looking for a new cage for them.
What would be the best cage to get them, I was looking at a Hamster Heaven but i'm not sure if this is suitable for them
Thanks:)

The bar spacing on a Hamster Heaven is too wide. I'd go for something like an Imac Bingo. :)

I agree with snickers, personally I'd go with a plastic tank style cage.
Imac bingo
Duna multy
Zoozone 1
all pretty similar and a good size for a pair :)

Agreed, tank-style would be safer for robos. :) There's always the Zoozone 2, too, or if you could use an Ikea Detolf shelf (http://www.hamstercentral.com/community/housing/13726-detlof-ikea.html).

i have a zoozone 1 for my robos, they love it :)
basically, as fm said, tank style cages around 70x40cm are good . or you can go for a bin cage, i think wilkos does a nice one for like a tenner ;D
you dont want to go too big though, or believe it or not, they start fighting over all the space :I

Thanks for the advice :D
I think i'll keep an eye out for a cheapish zoozone (either one) and I'm going to try to pick up a decently priced hamster heaven for my syrian because it's his birthday soon and he needs more room for his toys :D

If you want a bar style cage there is the Ferplast Kios from Equine canine feline. The bars are 7mm spaced apart so ideal for robos :)

Out of interest, are there any studies on this? :-k I feel sure someone here has three robos living happily in a ZZ2 (although odd numbers aren't recommended in case two gang up on the other, but still), and Christmas_hamster has a pair of robos living happily in the Detolf which is massive! (Link (http://www.hamstercentral.com/community/housing/4937-lets-see-your-cages-127.html#post213684).)

Could you put them in a cage if the bar spacing was small like a Mickey 2 XL?
