How deep substrate

Both my hamsters have 15cm of bedding and love it.They are completely different hams when they have 5cm compared to 15cm especially my dwarf.how deep is yours

How lovely! Usually I put 3-4 inches/7-10 cm because I can't really afford to put so much in a large bin like Oliver's. But I do agree that they do act differently when you give them more bedding!~~ ^___^ I feel kind of bad that I don't give him much though. Maybe I will make a box in the corner with a lot of bedding.

With the cages I have it's pretty much impossible to give really deep bedding so theirs is only a few inches high. However, when I clean them out they get to play in a huge tub of deep bedding for 20 minutes or so and they love it. :)
