In the last couple of days Mayo has started sleeping alot. Unless I take him out of his cage, he will only wake up to do the essentials. During the night he is only up for about 2 hours as opposed to 5 hours just last week.
I thought maybe he waa going into hibernation for some reason, but this does not seem to be the case.

Any change in normal behavior needs careful watching. Give him a good check over, looking for any signs of illness, checking nose, teeth, botty, cage etc for signs of discharge. runs/ lumps/ bumps. Make sure he is weeing and pooping and his breathing is not wheezy. Any problems need a vet visit. Otherwise monitor closely and make sure he has plenty nutritious food and bottle is working well. He may just be up more in the night and less by day as the daylight changes as spring comes in.

I live in Cramlington, which is about 9 miles from Newcastle, Uk.
He is around 14 weeks old.
I had already check him over etc. There had been no other changes in him other than sleeping alot more.
I had not thought that it may be the change of the seasons.
