Have you ever tried to do some google or yahoo searches for these things? I just did one on google for "Florida Hamster" and came up with this link.. http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/florida_hamster/

Its a yahoo group. The description says..

A group for Florida Hamster Keepers. You can be a pet owner, hamster breeder, rescue group or even just someone considering getting a hamster as a pet here in Florida. Postings can be about anything involving hamsters here in Florida. This can include breeding, hamster care, rescue, hamsters needing new homes or even a special color you are looking for. Hopefully this group will bring together Florida hamster lovers as there is no hamster club in this state. Pictured are some of my campbells russian dwarf hamsters.

I suggest you join this, it sounds like a great resource for you. :)

The Internet Hamster Association is also another good resource for people whom live in an area/state/county without a fomal hamster club.
