Ok so this is my first DIY so it may not be very good.
A while back i bought a toy for my cats at a local pet store. It was like a giant hollow bagel and inside there were 2 yellow balls. Along the outside there was a small continuous line where the cat's paw would push the balls on the inside and watch them go around and around like a car in a circlular race track.
Just recently i discovered a tube toy at a petstore that sold for about $25 It was a giant circular tube that had a tube cross in it's center. This is probably meant for cages that don't have tubes in them. It seemed like a good enough idea but for such a high price i couldn't add it to my wishlist.
Now i look at this cat toy that has enough room for a full grown syrian to fit into. Sadly i don't know the toy specifically and i don't know how much it cost but it couldn't be more than $10 probably less.
If for some chance you have a similar toy here is what i would suggest doing.
1. cut out a hole big enough for your hamster to fit.
2. Sand it down with a file so it doesn't scratch your hamster.
3.If you are afraid you hamster will try to squeeze through the the small sides you can try to block it by gluing it shut or you can make the opening a little bigger so it won't get stuck.
4. place in you hamsters cage or playpen
Sorry it's not exactly helpful because i don't have a picture of the toy let alone its name but i hope i did a decent job. I believe they have a motorized cat and mouse toy for sale on petco that is kinda a futuristic version of this toy.
Thanks and feedback apreciated
