Sapphire Pearl

Hello,

I was wondering what the difference is between Pearl & Sapphire Pearl?. Joe my Pearl boy has a grey stripe down his back, face/head & around his pom poms :mad:

I have seen a pic on SHC of a Sapphire Pearl that looks like just a faint grey down its back.

Is that the difference?. I know some colours don't show up on a picture verry well.

The colour of the ticking is what determines if the hammie is a Normal Pearl or a Sapphire pearl.
The Sapphire pearls has a more bluish grey ticking which sometimes looks like a stripe down the back and over the head mainly. The Normal pearls are more brownish black in the ticking.
