Mobile app for hamster central?

Hi, I was just wondering if you would benefit from a mobile app for hamster central. I am posting this thread on my mobile now and it's not the most mobile friendly of sites.

Anyway, just a thought. What do you think about the idea?

Yes... sometimes the website is not so mobile friendly, trying to click in the circle that appears in the frontpage to go to the last post of one thread can be frustrating, but overall I think that the website works fine on mobile phones, and that's a lot compared with other sites, even bigger sites.

Maybe you can use tapa talk or other apps that already exist that are made to read forums. I don't use it as it's easier for me to go directly to the forum, but it's very famous.

That would be great! Strangely enough my family just has 1 laptop which belongs to my mother so I don't always have access to it. I us my iPad mostly to post on here and yes it isn't the most mobile friendly. Although I don't know if HC has anyone who could develop an app and put it on the App Store/google play but I could be wrong.

I have always wondered about an HC app. It would be really useful as I do struggle to read a bit on my phone, so I only use that rarely for HC. Normally I use my iPad, but even then, it's a massive song and dance for me to upload photos, hence why there are so few of Jasper on the forum.

I guess it depends what phone you have but I've never had any problems using an iPhone or iPad, and uploading pictures is not a problem either- I just have to make sure I resize them first using an image resizing app.

I too have never really had any issues with the mobile version of this. In fact, it's one of the few forums you can use while on a phone without missing out on lots of features! It seems like it would be a lot of work to create a whole app though

I think an app would be super helpful! Even on my iphone its a lot of zooming in and out to be able to read the forum..
