Photos No Longer Showing Up

I was just browsing through a couple of my past threads and I noticed that the photos I had previously posted are no longer showing up in the threads, but the other day they were showing up fine . Is there a reason why they are no longer visible? have they been removed? Or if it just myself who can't see them?
As the post don't say they have been edited from anyone apart from myself when I edited the post.

My threads in which the photos are no longer visible are:
MY DIY Bucket Wheel
DIY Cardboard Tube Flower

If someone is aware of the reason for this could you please let me know.

Did you paste a link from photobucket? If you delete a photo on photobucket it doesn't show up in threads any more. Happened to me recently

That's been happening to me too, didn't know that if you delete a pic it disappears from the forum. I just deleted a bunch of pics from photobucket too unfortunately

No I don't use photo bucket, I uploaded them straight from my computer, so they come up as attached thumbnails.

I haven't tried this but if you put a photo back on photobucket will it automatically show up again on forum?

You know, some of the photos on my old threads did this too?! I don't have photobucket so no idea why!

No they don't unfortunately. I deleted duplicate photos a while back and had managed to delete the ones from the wheel thread! I had to send the links of the re-uploaded photos to Souffle to put the pics back.

Now I tend to delete the original as soon as I resize it so I only have one copy of everything.

But back to your question SKB - if they were uploaded from your computer I have no idea why they don't show - best to ask one of the moderators I think.

Ok, I was considering reattaching the photos to the end of the thread, but I was unsure whether there was a reason for why they were no longer there.
Also which moderator would be best to contact about this issue?

Anything technical relating to the forum you need to contact Fluffy. I suspect it's something to do with file storage on the forum as they were attachments (we haven't removed anything)

Edit: I have just looked at one of the threads and can see the file attachments are there, they are just not showing for some reason.

Hopefully Fluffy can help.
