Suggestion: 'Thank you' button?
Tell me to go away if this would be too much work or a pain.
I was just wondering if a 'thanks' button would be at all possible on the forum. They use them on other forums that I'm on and they're a great way to either 'like' a post or thank a poster without posting again. I sometimes feel like I'm being pointless simply making a new post just to thank someone or acknowledge them. I think it would be good to have some other way of acknowledging people, to save being ignorant and ignoring them or boosting a board that may be dead.
Just a thought

I agree, a lot of times I come across a post that I want to "like" as if I was on facebook. I think it's a great idea.

I don't think there should be a disagree button as if people fall out with others on the forum it could be used in the wrong way
Also it could become a popularity contest
If we just have a like button then those that like a comment can like & those that would rather not like the post don't.
