Re: Lump on Hamster

Erin's post was replying to someone elses hamster which had a lump but the picture of her Robo looked identical to mine. My hamster has had his lump sinse around December. It was the size of a pea in Jan, now it's abit bigger then a marble. I think I first got it looked at in November last year by a local Vet who just thought his scent gland was inflamed. I wasn't convinced it was so took him to an Exoctic Vet who confirmed it was a tumorand nothing todo with the scent gland. I have noticed he is drinking alot now and last night I was mortified to see he had blood all over his belly. He had caught the lump on something. I am taking him back to Vet tommorow incase he has urine infection, but i'm scared the Vet will say to have him pts. Other then the lump, he is running around an eating. Looks perfect in himself.
