Hi, I'm Chrissy, and my six-year-old son is Leander. He just got a golden hamster for his birthday that he named Centex. We are taking care of it together and came here to learn more about hamsters.
We are very experienced with other pets (we owned two Labrador Retrievers, two cats, fish, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, chahoua geckos, gargoyle geckos, a hybrid, mossy leaf-tailed geckos... you can see our many animals here:

However, we're completely new with hamsters. So far, we've watched several YouTube videos of how to care for ours. We're excited to get to know knowledgeable people who can help us along our way. We are still a bit insecure about food, and we would really love to meet somebody who can build hamster labyrinths and give us tips about how to make those
