I called them, and they said I can continue the medication. However, I decided not to since there was really no need and I don't love the idea of drugging her up with anti-biotics if its not necessary.
I do think it was a nail since I couldn't see any wound but by now it hasn't bled since that last post so I decided to leave it. It was definitely a waste of money to bring her to the vet but better safe than sorry and I'm just happy at this point that it wasn't anything more serious
