Default Re: Cinnamon - Dark grey

Both dark grey and Cinnamon are recessive so you need two cinnamon and two dark grey genes to get Lilac because each parent will only give one of the genes to the pups.
All pups from a pure dark grey to pure cinnamon mating will be golden carrying cinny and dark grey.
Your golden carrying dg to cinny would all be goldens too all carrying cinny and half dg
Lilac to Lilac would give you all Lilacs
Golden carrying dg and cinny in both parents will give you a chance of a small number of the pups being Lilac and you would also get cinnamon, dark grey and golden pups some of which will be carriers. Read up on punnet squares and recessive and dominant genes then you will be able to predict outcomes however what you actually get usually does not obey the laws of genetics!
