Hi! I’m sorry if this is in the wrong category, I couldn’t decide which was the most fitting. I got Daphne a year ago, I’m not sure how old she was when I got her but I was told she was around 1 year. I noticed her having some fur loss around 2 month ago, after taking her to the vets she was treated for mites. She seems to be itching less but her fur loss has continued and she seems to be getting more frail. My concern now is that I’m moving to a new city in 3 weeks time and I can’t decide what’s the best option for her, she gets very stressed with change (having to do full cage cleans with the mites was very upsetting for her) and I’m really worried about the stress of moving her to a new city. So I have two options, to leave her with my Mum, where we are now, or to move her with me. If I leave her here, she will be looked after but she won’t be handled daily - only when I come home (which is likely to be every other week). But if I move her when she’s already unwell I’m worried the stress will make her worse. I just wanted some opinions on what the best option for her would be?
