Hi, I'm from the UK too and have just started looking into getting a new hamster too
I am researching bedding and have come across something called Easibed, I don't know what wood it is made from, need to find that out of course, but am wondering if that might be suitable.
It sounds ideal otherwise, it's dust free and made from wood pulp, it's free draining but not sure if that's good for a hamster or not.
