Don’t feel bad for asking. You’re a good hamster mum exactly because you care enough that you’re here asking and deeply considering what’s best for him.
It’s hard to say for sure, you know your hamster best and will be able to spot changes in his behavior. If you think he’s suffering discomfort it might be best to take him. Either way, keep him cozy, give him treats and make him feel loved as I’m sure you always have.
P.S. Gilbert is the cutest little robo name ever.
