So in my story you can see my female pregant hamster, (I’m not backyard breeding btw I’m very aware of their gentics etc) however I have noticed she is much smaller with her belly when compared to other pregnant hamster? She has been in her zoozone 2 cage throughout her pregancy and now she is due any day. Last night she chewed through a part of the zoozone, I have for now covered it with a hide but it’s tiny and taped up with a safe tape the hole. Anywyas I’m curious wheather anyone else has had a female that isn’t huge belly give birth? I’m wondering how many babies she will have? Any ideas? I’m thinking 2-8 babies? This is her first litter and she weighs 143g now but she is on the smaller side of Syrian, she isn’t bred for show but for temperment and healthy tho I want to show her in future, anyone could estimate how many babies she could have lol xx ?
