As you are in US you have access to Niteangel. They make amazing products and I love their wheels. You can order one through Amazon.

Hamsters do not need their whole bedding changed. Doing this removes their scent and causes them stress. You can just do spot cleans removing the soiled bedding and replacing it with some fresh bedding.

As to food I hear in US people like chubby cheeks but I am not sure of others.

Hamsters actually like a more crowded cage. I am.sure adding more hides and a tunnel would be really appreciated.
