That is true. If they cared about hamsters one bit they'd AT LEAST have a wheel. All my local pet shop has is food and water bottle for hamsters and when I bought Bogie I got bugs too. I'm certain that the next hamster who was housed there got bugs too.
I'd be honestly afraid to purchase any pet from the pet store.
