I don't see the harm in just once to get a hamster from a breeder iv rescued most my hamsters and other pets and for once just getting one from a baby that I know the parentage and history to see it from just a few days old to when I bring it home to know its healthy and not been breed in a rodent mill which most rescue ones will have been
Im not going to feel guilty about just 1 time getting from a ethical breeder

I'm not trying to make you feel guilty. I have myself bought hamsters from the petshop, from a breeder and the majority have been rescued.
I suppose after rescuing, rehoming (usually to myself) and volunteering for rescues, i've become more aware of the number of hamsters in need of a good home and will do anything i can to encourage people to adopt.
Buying from a petshop or a breeder indirectly supports more breeding and sometimes i get a bit carried away with my mission to help unwanted hamsters to a loving home.
I do apologise for that.
